Bénéteau Oceanis 40.1 · Kalamaki, Athens
Depart 07:30, sail southwest past Aegina. First anchorage in the crystal-clear bay at Skala. Pine trees, quiet village, perfect introduction to the Saronic.
Sail south past Methana. Poros sits in a dramatic 200m-wide strait — the Peloponnese is right there. Walk up to the clock tower; water taxi to the lemon forest. Good provisioning stop.
Longer passage south. Car-free island — horse carriages only. Beautiful old harbour, elegant mansions. Swim stop at Agioi Anargyri on the way in: the finest beach in the Saronic.
Depart Spetses 08:00 — arrive before noon to secure a stern-to berth. No cars. No mopeds. Donkeys, cats, and some of the most beautiful harbour architecture in the Mediterranean. Stay the whole day.
Sail north from Hydra back to Poros. One more evening ashore, final dinner. Friday: depart 08:00 for the long run home north, Moni island swim stop, back in Kalamaki by late afternoon.
